Citroen dealer in Germany - they were clearly baffled, connected the car to a computer and found nothing, despite the system not working properly. One guy at Citroen risked a guess that it could happen after heavy rain if the water won't drain properly from supply air duct (some unspecified sensor).

The most common causes for AC blowing hot air in Citroen C4 are low or overcharged refrigerant, compressor malfunction, dirty condenser or evaporator coils, faulty blend door actuator, defective evaporator temperature sensor, bad AC pressure sensor, and bad fuse or relay. Less common causes are clogged expansion valve or orifice tube
2 days ago · A dead or low battery voltage is another possible cause for the Citroen C4 not starting. The battery powers the electrical components of the car, including the starter motor, and if it is not charged or working properly, the car may not start. Finally, an engine immobilizer malfunction can also prevent the Citroen C4 from starting.
Picked up my first ever Citroen yesterday, 2015 C4 Pic, auto, 1.6 diesel VTR+. Have a couple of niggles and having read many posts already, wanted to shout out on the 7inch screen as that's my biggest challenge. Test drove car and was all working fine, went in all menus and screen, radio, HVAC etc all were working via screen.

2.1-Identify if the cigarette lighter fuse has blown on Citroen C4. Note that almost all the fuses of your Citroen C4 are grouped together in the fuse box. You can easily find it using the booklet of your Citroen C4. In general, it is located near the battery, which means under the hood or under the steering wheel.

The replacement screen in my car has remained working 100% through cold weather and plenty of use. Everytime I unlock the car I do still hold my breathe for a moment and check the screen illuminates correctly! I know Citroen were trying to find another solution (rather than screen part replacement). Go sit in the car and get comfy. Start the car up and plug in the USB and follow the instructions. DO NOT turn the car off, or drive while it is downloading. This is important. It could take up to 30 mins to transfer. It will reboot when ready. DO NOT leave your car alone with the engine running.
Once your phone is connected via Bluetooth on your car, starting the application should connect Android auto to your Citroen C4. If this connection does not work, try to connect it first in USB (ignition on) and then activate Bluetooth afterwards; I don’t have a compatible screen on my Citroen C4 but I still want to benefit from Android Auto:
Step 2: Removing Trim. 1. Start with door lever trim, lift up using small screwdriver at the bottom of the widest part, work your way round to the top then lift, there is tab at the narrow end. 2. Next remove the trim on the door handle, start lifting with a small screwdriver at the points shown in the picture. If second key works perfectly then first replacing the key battery in the key that's malfunctioning, if battery does not work then have the key replaced. I you do not have a spare key. manually unlock the drivers side door with the blade before getting into the vehicle. If this allows the vehicle to start and you do not have a spare then try While the car is off, hold the power and the eject button. Press your CD player's power and eject buttons down at the same time, holding them for about ten seconds. If your stereo has a "force eject" feature, it should spit out the CD. 3. If this doesn't work, start the car and try again.

The screen does not go pass the splash screen. Sometimes I can hear music playing, the buttons light up, but cannot select anything. Cannot find how to do a manual reboot/reset.
282 Posted September 25, 2009 If you look at the back of the wireless touch pad you will see a little tiny hole. This is the reset switch. You will need to take a paper clip, or something the same size as a paper clip, put it in the hole and press the button. You will see the white Control4 screen and the keypad will reboot.
And regularly serviced by citroen - FSH. The car had a major service by citroen just a couple of weeks ago, filled it up this morning from sainsbury's full tank fill up 45 litres. It then drove to work for 40 minutes no problem. The battery was 100% before this, stop start was functioning as normal.
The touch screen doesn’t turn on at all: In such a case, you will have to look at the power supply side of the touch screen, in most cases it will be a blown fuse, so check the status of the fuse. The touch screen is frozen: In that case, as we explained before, it’s likely a bug you’re going through, you’ll have to try to unplug/replug
The air con in my 07 GP has stopped working. Don't think it needs a re gas because when you switch it on there is no clicking noise. Just wondering if it could be a fuse or switch and hopefully not the compressor. The car came out warranty at the start of Feb but Citroen not willing to help. Any body got and ideas
